Week 3 and 4 - please scroll down under the letter to view the work

Hello year two, we hope you are staying safe and keeping busy. Thank you so much for the toilet roll video it really made us smile.
We know that you are missing your friends we are too and most of all we are missing you. Hopefully, we will be back together again soon but until then we have some more tasks, we need you to complete over the next two weeks. Just like the last activities we need you to complete two tasks a day and keep up with the daily five activities to make sure you are keeping busy.
It has been lovely to keep in touch with you using the learning conversations on HWB. For those of you who have not had a chance to access the learning conversations yet,
this is a reminder how to do it.
Log on to HWB
Click on J2E
Find the icon Pupils files and click on it.
Click on Year 2 and find your file. It will have your name on it.
Click on your file and you will see some speech bubbles we might have left you a message in them. You can message us back.
This is a good way of keeping in touch with you.
DON’T FORGET THAT YOU MUST SAVE YOUR WORK.

Lots of you are doing an excellent job of your Maths work on MyMaths. You have done such a brilliant job practising clockwise, anticlockwise and right angles, well done! If you are having any difficulties accessing MyMaths, please email maesycoedprimary82@gmail.com
Remember to keep working hard we love seeing your work. Also, if you have any photos you would like to share with us, they can be posted on the blog for everyone to see.

We are missing you lots but remember stay safe and stay well.

Homeworking Weeks 1 and 2

Homework for Year Two
Hello year two, we hope you have all enjoyed the Easter holidays and have been able to enjoy some of the lovely sunshine we have had. We are missing you lots and are hoping that we can all be together again soon. Until then, we will be setting you some homework to do each day.
Please use the same rules that we follow in class. Take your time to read the homework carefully. Remember to write or draw your work neatly in your book. Always use the think it, say it, write it, read it back rule to make sure you have not missed anything out or made any mistakes. If using the computer, save your work using a sensible name. Always try your best.
In the homework grid are two activities for you to try to complete each day. Most are tasks that you can finish the same day. However, there are a few that either follow on to the next day, or to the next week.

You have all been given your HWB and My Maths user names and passwords, but if you are having difficulty please e-mail us on         maesycoedprimary82@gmail.com
Sometimes you will record your work in the book we provided, or on HWB using Jit 5. Please remember to save your work.

We would also like you to try to do the ‘Daily Five’ activities if possible. These are reading, maths practise, keep fit, being creative and celebrating something you have done well.

Today, the children in foundation phase celebrated a Welsh Culture Day with visiting harpist Bethan Nia. A variety of Welsh songs were sung whilst Bethan played the harp. Afterwards the children had a go themselves on the small harps. They all had a wonderful time.

Our Techniquest Trip

On our recent trip to Techniquest we learnt about ourselves as our topic is 'All About Me'. We saw a show which was all about exploring our bodies. We then had a lot of fun exploring all the science projects around Techniquest. Take a look at our photos below and on the link.
