World Book Day

On Thursday 6th April we celebrated world book day and dressed up as a character from a book or wore our pyjamas to school. We brought in our favourite stories to share with our friends. In class we did lots of activities like finding as many stories as we could by Julia Donaldson, writing about our favourite stories and book reviews. Here are our photos.

Fairtrade Afternoon Tea

As part of our Fairtrade topic we had a fairtrade afternoon tea in school on Monday 3rd April. We wore our best clothes and ate Jam sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and fruit salad. We used as many Fairtrade foods as we could. A good time was had by all as you can see in the photos below.

Castles

As part of our topic mini explorers we went on a visit to Caerphilly castle and Castell Coch. We looked at the internal and external features of both castles comparing them to find what they had in common and how they were different. Here are some photos of our fab day.
