Our Techniquest Trip

On our recent trip to Techniquest we learnt about ourselves as our topic is 'All About Me'. We saw a show which was all about exploring our bodies. We then had a lot of fun exploring all the science projects around Techniquest. Take a look at our photos below and on the link.

Cricket

After a fabulous 4 weeks learning cricket skills with Mr Aubrey from Cricket Wales we ended with a fabulous afternoon in Pontypridd Rugby ground putting our skills to the test. We had an amazing time with Mr Aubrey and a few of us have taken cricket up as a sport. Thank you Mr Aubrey!!

In our after science club we have been doing lots of different experiments. Here are some of them:-

Science Club have been experimenting with colour. We looked at how we could make a rainbow using Skittles and water and then we experimented with Chromatography....

On 21st December we visited Pontypridd nursing home and sung carols to the residents. Many thanks to the staff for the children's treats

Visit to the park

On 20th December we went to Ynysangharad Park for some fun!!!
After playing on the swings, slides and climbing frames we enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate and ate marshmallows before walking back to school.
